Mauri Pioppi, whose jewelry designs grace the brightest stars in Hollywood and women all across America, has unveiled her latest creation, the “Live Well Laugh Hard” necklace, whose sales will benefit the Washington, DC-based Hope for Henry Foundation, which improves the quality of life of children facing grave illnesses. Renowned for her LoveLetters line of jewelry, Mauri Pioppi has found a way to combine her unique design talents with her passion for helping others.

The necklaces feature a round gold or silver pendant engraved with the words “Live Well Laugh Hard” on one side and “Hope for Henry” on the other. The pendants are complemented by a star and diamond chip.

“’Live Well Laugh Hard,’ the motto of the Hope for Henry Foundation, is something we can all learn from and a beautiful sentiment to communicate on this jewelry, said Pioppo. “I am proud to lend my creative efforts to support the day-to-day well-being of children whose lives are so difficult. The Hope for Henry Foundation was started in 2002 in memory of Henry Strongin Goldberg, who fought an unsuccessful fight against a rare disease, Fanconi anemia, with smiles, laughter and a heart full of love and joy. The Foundation works with hospitals across the country including, Georgetown University Medical Center (DC), Johns Hopkins (MD), Hackensack University Medical Center (NJ), Univ. of Minnesota and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (PA) to give high-end portable consumer electronics, like iPods, DVD players and XM satellite radios to kids with life-threatening illnesses to help ease the monotony and pain of hospitalizations and medical treatments. More hospitals are being added through the generous support of purchasers of Live Well Laugh Hard jewelry and donations to the Foundation.
